Airport Campus
At the only Airport Campus among Japanese universities, students practice flight training from the base of Aso Kumamoto Airport.
North Wing
Provides high-quality operation training in accordance with our own curriculum for nurturing pilots.
Among universities with a pilot training course in Japan, only our Aviation Pilots Course is licensed as a business place that can use single-engine and twin-engine training aircraft by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. In the North Wing, we have ten Cessna aircraft (single engine) and three Baron aircraft (twin engine). Under the supervision of experienced teachers, including former international pilots, students can conduct pilot training. Even on the grounds, simulated flight training is conducted using a flight simulator.
South Wing
Training aircraft mechanics
Develops inspection/maintenance skills that can be immediately used upon entry to companies.
In our Aviation Maintenance Course, which was licensed as designated airman training institute by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation for the first time among universities nationwide, students can acquire the second class aircraft maintenance technician qualification during their enrollment in the university with the practical qualification examination exempted. In the South Wing, we have five Socata TB-9 aircraft and one Piper Seneca aircraft, for a total of six aircraft in total. Aiming at developing the practical skills at the level required by companies, we provide practical inspection/maintenance training under teachers with abundant experience in the field to pursue aviation security.
