Introduction to the Graduate School
Sojo University Graduate School is one of the most advanced research institutions in western Japan.
With a goal of contributing to society with the concept of interdisciplinary and industry‐university cooperation, we aim to make academic efforts to develop human resources who create next-generation technologies and arts.
Sojo University Graduate School, which upholds the concept of interdisciplinary and industry‐university cooperation, is one of the most advanced research institutions in western Japan, and its state-of-the-art efforts serve as the backbone for education in the various faculties.
At the same time, Sojo University Graduate School is an educational institution where students expand well beyond the knowledge and theories they acquired in their undergraduate education. The graduate school has a specialized course structure that is directly connected with each faculty’s curriculum. There are four master’s degree courses in the area of Faculty of Engineering, one course in the area of Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, two courses in the area of Faculty of Biotechnology and Life Science, and two courses in the area of Faculty of Art. As for Ph.D. Course, there are eight courses that correspond to the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Faculty of Biotechnology and Life Science, Faculty of Art, and Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Each graduate student will proactively establish links with relevant fields while pursuing the academic system of the major field and promote his/her own research. They will aim at contributing to society as highly-advanced professionals who create next-generation technologies and arts.
