Tuition Exemption System
Information on Tuition Exemption System
[Application method]
Applicants must submit the four “documents to be submitted” shown below to Sojo International Center. For details, refer to the Enrollment Procedures sent out by the university after being accepted for admission.
[Application requirements]
- The annual income of the financial sponsor residing in Japan is less than 5 million yen, and the average monthly allowance is 90,000 yen or below.
- The attendance rate in the previous academic year is 80% or above.
(For a new student, the attendance rate at the Japanese language school or other school he/she attended immediately before enrollment is 80% or above.)
[Documents to be submitted]
- Application Form for Tuition Exemption of Privately Funded International Student (enclosed with Enrollment Procedures)
- Duplicate of passport
- Duplicate of residence card (both sides)
- Income certificate of financial sponsor residing in Japan for the previous one-year period
- Document showing attendance rate(for new students only)
* Preparation of these documents to be submitted may take a long time.
Please start the preparation as soon as possible.
[Submission period]
As these documents need to be submitted immediately after passing of the admission examination, please prepare Income certificate of financial sponsor (document (4) shown above) at the time of application for admission.
