Actively using English to communicate
コミュニケーション重視の英語授業
English courses are compulsory classes for all first and second year students at Sojo University. Classes are conducted twice a week, all by foreign teachers in English, but don't worry if you are not good at English! The teachers are very friendly and have extensive experience to help you learn. In addition, we use active learning strategies so that you can do fun pair and group work activities to emphasize communication.
英語は全学科の1・2年生必修科目です。授業は週２回、外国人教員により全て英語で行われます。英語が苦手でも心配いりません！教員たちはとてもフレンドリーで、豊富な教授経験を持っています。また、コミュニケーションを重視したペアワークやグループワークでクラスメートと楽しく学習します。

We learn and use English through active learning.
授業はアクティブラーニング型で、学生はディスカッションやロールプレイを友達と英語で行います。

The Blended Learning Space is an integrated learning experience combining digital media with traditional classroom methods, in which students have some control over time, place, path, or pace.
授業はBlended Learning Spacesと呼ばれる講義室で行われます。机や椅子は軽くて容易に動かすことができ、個人、ペア、グループにしたりと、アレンジが自由自在です。

SILCオンライン学習コミュニティ
With the SILC online learning community, we can chat with teachers, access class information and bring English learning to our homes.
SILCオンライン学習コミュニティはスマートフォンやタブレットでもアクセス可能ですので授業だけでなく、宿題や課題を家や外出先ですることができます。また先生たちといつでもチャット（もちろん英語です）をすることができます。
